Following the close of entries the draw for the 2016 Putting Competition was made yesterday and is displayed in the clubhouse on the small notice board near the counter. You can also view the draw by clicking on 2016  Putting Comp hyperlink). With only 37 entries received, most players who have a bye in the first round – there are only 5 matches.

While first round matches are due to be completed by Sunday 5th June, if you are invlolved in a first  round match you are encouraged to arrange and play your your match ASAP. Also, despite round 2 matches not being due to be completed for 2 months, those of you who can already play their second round matches to play soon while the weather is good should do so.

Once you have played your match, please record the result on the draw sheet posted on the notice board near the office in the clubhouse.

Good Luck!! You might also be pleased  to know that last year’s putting champ, Trish Owen has not entered this year. She felt that the rest of us needed some encouragement and some chance of winning!!
