Today seven women played in the 9 hole event on the back nine of the Green Course. The winner was Gwen Chapman, handicap 29 with a score of 17 points. DTL balls were won by Chris Lay (41) 15 points & Noreen Williams (32) 14points c/b
The 18 hole comp was sponsored by Voyage Fitness of Leongatha. An excellent field of 44 players took part in perfect conditions for golf.

Today a field of 86 players took to the course on a perfect day. The scoring was red hot today with Alexander Hill winning the overall competition with a brilliant score of 41 points. Christopher Leaver won A-Grade on a count back with 38 points. Peter Hobson won B-Grade on a count back with a score of 39 points.

An excellent 39 points by Peter Walsh and Craig Hams in blusterly conditions eventually saw Peter Walsh declared A Grade winner and Best Score of the Day on countback.

46 ladies took on the course today in extremely hot conditions, with some very hot scores coming from the day. Jocelyn Howson won A-Grade with a score of 33 points. Lynda Basset took out C-Grade with a great score of 37 points. But with the best score of the day Alison Strong won B-Grade, a terrific score of 39 points.

Thursday shotgun starts got off to a flying start with 77 players teeing off in ideal golf conditions.
Chris Leaver and Peter Jaspers were the standout performers with 40 points each. Chris’s very impressive back nine sealed the countback and today’s overall prize. Peter was the proud winner of a single golf ball. Congratulations to them both.
