Todays event. was Sponsored by Karen Orford and Lianne Adamson. Winners were A grade Toni West (10) with 33 points, B Grade Melinda Martin (28) with 33 points on C/B and C Grade was Maryanne Gartner (32) with 31 points C/B. There were a total of 35 players in today”s comp.
We had four players in the nine hole comp with the winner being Kerry Hogan (24) with 19 points.

Today’s event and raffle was very generously sponsored by Trish Owen. There were 42 players who enjoyed perfect golf conditions. The winners were Toni West, Loris Clark & Sue Bowler with a score of 60 2/3. Runners-up were Rebecca Thomas, Wendy Brown and Danita Hall with 63 1/6. Both winning teams had a mother and daughter combination. Congratulations to everyone.

It was nice to see the sun out today and a good field of 80 enjoyed the Gentsome event with the winning team of Chris Leaver, Trevor Moss, Kevin Scott & Peter Hartigan coming in with 98 points to pip the team of Jeff Brewer, Paul Luck, Rod Hopcraft and Bruce Clark on countback.

There were 28 players who ventured out on finally a nice calm day. There were two grades, the winner of A Grade was Dot Stubbs (13) with +4 and B Grade was Chris Lay (39) with +1. Well done to Dot & Chris.
The new Thursday afternoon competition is now into it’s third week and attracting extra players to competition golf.
Colin Bear snuck in for a win this week with a creditable 38 points.
We had 20 hardy souls competing in wild, windy and wet conditions for the Grandmother’s Trophy. The winner of A Grade and the Grandmother’s Trophy was Fay Quilford (23) with 34 points. Congratulations Fay. B Grade winner was Karen Bear (29) with 28 points.
On a beautiful day for golf, the Course and greens had recovered well from a wet weekend to give a little run and good pace on the greens, which Max Hyde & Andy Bassett took advantage of to score a very respectable 43 points. Runners up were Frank Thomas & John Mc Lennan who came in with 41 points.

The course was bathed in sunshine when a good field hit off for today’s Par event. Kevin Scott brought home the round of the day with a +5 to win C Grade, Ken Smirk won B Grade with +1 and Anthony Sparkes won A grade with 2 down.

We had a hardy group of players showing up for the Doris Chambers Foursomes event today in windy conditions. The winners were Maxine Eabry & Trish Owen (20) with a score of 32 points. Runners-up were Chris Lay and Lynda Bassett (39) with 31 points. Maxine and Trish have now qualified to play in the final on a Melbourne course later in the year. Congratulations to them.
