Reminder about South Gippsland District Singles Championships to be held on Sunday13th December 2015

The South Gippsland District Singles Championships will be played at Phillip Island Golf Club this coming Sunday 13th December 2015.

Entry to play in this event is FREE, and there are a number of competitions to play in from 9 hole comps in the afternoon, through 18 hole comps, to 27 hole events and even 36 hole events. There is also a teams event so round up your mates and get a team of 4 together.

Entry forms for the event are posted on the notice board in our clubrooms and should be returned to the Tournament Manager, Denis Stanes at 18a Hagelthorn Street, Wonthaggi, 3995. Denis can be contacted on 5672 2787 or by mobile 0419 887 396.

Dethatching Works on 10th Fairway Today

Busy by name, busy by nature! There was action apenty onthe 10th fairway this afternoon as the dethatching contractors swung into action. They plan to work until around 8pm tonight and hopefully will have completed the job by tomorrow afternoon.
