Lachlan Thomas put in a top notch performance to defeat Chris Indian in the final of the Hyland Cup. Lachie was hitting them long, chipping in and putting like a single figure marker. Congratulations Lachie, it is great to see one of out younger members prevail in this prestigious event. Congratulations, too, to Chris for winning six matches to get to the final and coming within an whisker of winning this event.

The handicap eent was won by overnight leaders, Stuart Harry and Daniel Jolley, with +13. They added a cool +7 to yesterday’s +6. Champion effort to post +7 when the rest of the field was trying to chase them down.
