Once again we had some good scores registered, but with no change to the top four.
And on a high after his three weeks in America, Peter Waters hit the ground running with a fine B & F Score of the round with 39 Points.

61 players took to the course in extremely windy conditions. Although scoring was very tough one player didn’t seem to get the message. The runaway winner today was John Fedderson with an amazing score of 43 points. A-Grade was won by Mathew Bowey with 35 points while C-Grade was won by Ted Rudge on 33 points. 60 players played in today’s event. The fine weather was welcome after the adverse conditions of the past few days.
Bert Borg and Josh Hall showed the way with 71 off the stick for a nett 65
Marilyn and Russell Williams, with 66.5 nett won second prize on a countback from Bruce Hutton and Barry Attwood.
Jim Arnott and Ken Smirk won the nearest the pins.
The second round of the Wormburner’s Medal again produced a good field for the middle of winter, with some very strong scores coming in today, none better than 40 points by Geoff McDonald who won Best Score of the Day and A Grade.
B Grade was won by Peter Waters with 39 points on c/b from Ron Findlay also with 39 points, and C Grade was won by Michael Oliver with 37 points on C/B from Michael Street with 37 points.

The inaugural Wormburner’s Medal was taken out by Ian Barlow with consistent rounds of 43 and 37 for 81 points total. Andrew Smith was 4 shots away with a total of 77 points with Michael Oliver 75 points. Well done to all that played.

SUPER LEAGUE ROUND 4 RESULTS

Top of the ladder for three rounds, OOB’s slipped to third after a golf lesson from Bunkers.
Bottom dwellers, Bogies, had a win over Birdies and by doing so, Birdies now hold the bottom dwellers title.
The top four teams coming into the last round are secure, but they are still all open to movement, up or down. Some interesting games coming up this week.

76 brave players took to the course today in extremely tough conditions. Overall winner with a great score of 36 points was Geoff McDonald. The ever consistent Merv Stubbs won B-Grade with 33. David Barrack took out C-Grade with another great score of 36 points.

There were a total of 13 players in today’s Women’s competition. The winner was Marilyn Williams with 34 points.
23 brave warriors tackled the wind and rain today.
Chris Leaver was the pick of the crop with a fine 34 points, narrowing edging out Jim Arnott with 33 points.
