Today’s stableford event was won by Alan Briggs with 37 points, knocking off Thursday Championship winner Rob Martin on acountback.
Rob did, however, take out C Grade and Craig Hutchinson won A grade with a fin 35 points.

The final round of the Thursday championship was completed today. Rob Martin came home strong to win the event with a two-round total of 71 stableford points.
Peter Hartigan (68), and Bruce Cathie (67) rounded out the top three

A Grade Winner was Colleen Touzel with 39 points. B Grade was won by Karen Bear with 39 points and Bronwyn Debenham amassed 44 points to take out C Grade.
Mi Club was not operating today so no results have been entered.
Fred Debono was today’s hero with 37 points winning our daily stableford competition.
Andrew McFarlane played some hot shots to win A grade with 36 points and Marilyn Williams showed the way in B grade with 33 points just pipping Peter Waters on a countback.

A field of 65 golfers battled strong winds in the second round of the Thursday Championships. However, the tough conditions didn’t bother Bruce Cathie who shot a great 38 points to take overall honours. Andrew Smith won A-grade with 33 points on countback; whilst Peter Hartigan took out B-grade with 35 points, also on countback.
Seventeen pairs competed in the Lois Cameron Canadian Foursomes Board event today. The winning combination were Liz Hodge and Bronwyn Debenham with a nett 79.5. Runners up, with 81.875 were Karen Bear and Wendy Parker. These players will now compete in a match play foursomes before October 27th. Thank you to Sue Woods for the raffle donation.
In much improved weather conditions, Peter Hobson was a clear winner with a score of +4. Geoff McDonald won A Grade on a countback with a score of 0. Frank Smedley is having a good run and took out C Grade with a score of -2. Chris Leaver had an eagle on the 18th hole.
In less than favourable conditions, 49 brave souls tackled the course for the September Monthly Medal. Congratulations to Chris Leaver was the overall winner on a countback with a score of 73. B Grade was won by Nick Shaw with a nett score of 75 and C Grade was won by Scotty Blencowe, who lost the overall win on a countback also with a score of 73.
We had 71 players attack the course today in clear weather. Quentin Wilton led the field and was the overall winner with 36 points. Ian Barlow was the B Grade winner with 35 points and a solid 32 points gave Frank Smedley a win in C Grade.
