A field of 35 players competed in today’s Monthly Medal. Congratulations to Else Gedye winning her first medal with a magnificent score of 61 (40) nett, Else was also the C Grade winner for the day. A Grade winner Marg Berry 71 nett (15), B Grade winner and Scratch winner Sue Bowler 70 (26) nett.

Today was the first competition round for Mitch Cullen who played off 35 , and enjoyed the Course with Best Score of the Day with 41 points. Well done Mitch but the handicapper has got you in his sights. A Grade was taken out by Geoffrey McDonald with 37 points and Malcolm Legge took out B Grade with 38 points on C/B.

The program starts ideally with children at school age – about 5 years old. PGA Professionals deliver all classes. We teach basic fundamentals but always try and encourage the kids to learn through playing fun games. On-course time is part of each term schedule and the kids always look forward to playing a few holes on the course.

19 players enjoyed great conditions for golf today. No body was better than Coral Gray coming out on top of the guys via countback in a 4-way tie with 36 points.
Congratulations to Craig Hams for winning the competition today with a great score of 40 Points.

Today we had 23 players enjoy great conditions for our Good Friday Stableford.
Winner was Walter Taberner with a great score of 37 points, on a count back from Colin Bear.

A tremendous 43 points saw Norm Hughes win today’s event.
George Misson also starred with an impressive 41 points to win C grade and Garry Friend had a nice day out with 38 points to beat 4 others on a countback.
Forty players contested the Ann Debenham Anti Cancer Shield event today with some great scores recorded. The event was generously sponsored by Noreen Williams. The Debenham family have kindly offered to sponsor this Board event in memory of Ann, which will be awarded to the winners on Presentation night.
A Grade winner was Colleen Touzel (17) 39 points CB, B Grade winner (27) Deb Miller 37 points, C Grade winner Elizabeth Gedye (42) 37 points.
