Round / Week Two (2) 2017 Invy Espy Hotel Super League.

Individual Scores not as high as round one, but lots more this week in the 30’s.

OOB’s and Bunkers once again scrapped over the line with wins lead the way in the top four.

Best & Fairest for the Invy Espy Hotel Voucher for round two with 35 points was Dave Forbes on a count back from Neale Gillin.

The first round of the Super League Competition sponsored by the Esplanade Hotel, has been completed and the ladder is as follows:

1 – OOB’s – 4 points- 113.2%

2- Par’s – 4 points – 111%

3 – Bunkers – 4 points – 107.7%

4 – Fairways – 0 points – 92.9%

5 – Birdies – 0 points – 90.1%

6 – Bogies – 0 points – 88.3%

Wednesday 5th July 2017 Doris Chambers Foursomes Stableford

Total of 28 players.  The winners were Dot Stubbs and Lianne Adamson with 36 points.  Runners Up Rebecca Thomas and Maxine Eabry with 30 points.

Seven players were in the 9 hole competition today with the winner being Bronwyn Debenham with 17 points.

The raffle was sponsored by Jocelyn Howson.

Par Plus- Tuesday 4 July 2017

Par Plus was a good change today as you can get rewarded for a birdie.  Whilst the breeze was chilly, the greens were superb and Michael Ellis took full advantage scoring +4 to take out A Grade and Best Score of the Day.  For full results click here:

Men’s Monthly Medal Saturday July 1

Today we had 80 players compete in our July Monthly Medal, although conditions were tough for most people our winners played some great golf to get the job done. Best score of the day and our medal winner went to Nicholas Hill with a fantastic score of 66 nett. Tom Williamson took out A-Grade with a great score of 69 nett. C-Grade was won by Ted Rudge with another great score of 68 nett.

Gentsomes & 9 Hole Stableford: Thursday 29/6/2017

Gentsomes:

A very wet day didn’t deter the field playing a four person Gentsomes Competition,  from putting in some good scores with the winning four of Peter Hartigan,Kevin Scott, Chris Leaver and Trevor Moss returning with 95 points.

9 Hole Stableford:

The Captain and his mates played in the 9 holes competition which is also available on a Thursday morning. This event is off the yellow tees and despite getting drenched, the shorter version was just a good option for the day, with Andy Bassett collecting the ball.
