A field of 35 players competed in today’s Monthly Medal. Congratulations to Else Gedye winning her first medal with a magnificent score of 61 (40) nett, Else was also the C Grade winner for the day. A Grade winner Marg Berry 71 nett (15), B Grade winner and Scratch winner Sue Bowler 70 (26) nett.

Today was the first competition round for Mitch Cullen who played off 35 , and enjoyed the Course with Best Score of the Day with 41 points. Well done Mitch but the handicapper has got you in his sights. A Grade was taken out by Geoffrey McDonald with 37 points and Malcolm Legge took out B Grade with 38 points on C/B.

19 players enjoyed great conditions for golf today. No body was better than Coral Gray coming out on top of the guys via countback in a 4-way tie with 36 points.
Congratulations to Craig Hams for winning the competition today with a great score of 40 Points.

A tremendous 43 points saw Norm Hughes win today’s event.
George Misson also starred with an impressive 41 points to win C grade and Garry Friend had a nice day out with 38 points to beat 4 others on a countback.
Forty players contested the Ann Debenham Anti Cancer Shield event today with some great scores recorded. The event was generously sponsored by Noreen Williams. The Debenham family have kindly offered to sponsor this Board event in memory of Ann, which will be awarded to the winners on Presentation night.
A Grade winner was Colleen Touzel (17) 39 points CB, B Grade winner (27) Deb Miller 37 points, C Grade winner Elizabeth Gedye (42) 37 points.

On a nice fresh day for golf Will Norden won B Grade and Best Score of the Day with 39 points, beating A Grade winner Keith Finney on 38 points and C Grade winner Ted Bruinewoud on 36.

Max Hyde took advantage of the blusterly conditions to record a very good 42 points to take out Best Score of the Day. Frank Gallagher (aka Kev Castwood) took out A Grade with 37 points and Peter Buttinger took out B Grade with 36 points.

Today there were 34 entrants in the 18 hole competition. A Grade winner was Nancy Sperling (25) 34 points. B Grade winner Marg Griffiths (26) 37 points. C Grade winner Lesley Renwick (38) 36 points.
4 Players contested the nine hole competition with the winner being Gwen Chapman (29) 19 points.
In nice conditions the field enjoyed the Gentsomes format with some outstanding individual games , none better than Ray Barbour with 51 points followed by Hans Hoefler with 49 points.
Winning Team was Keith Finney, Michael Oliver, Ray Barbour and Mark Warby with 105 points.
