Tuesday 17/7/2018 – Round 1 -Worm Burners Medal

Strong winds may for a challenging first Round of the Worn Burners Medal.  Played off the yellow tees, expectations were high for some great scores but the wind evened out the field.  Best Score of the Day went to Kevin Scott with 37 points on count back from 4 others.  Andrew Smith took out  A Grade with 37 points also, whilst Craig Hams, Geoff Maher and Andy Bassett had to settle for a ball despite also shooting 37 points.  Next weeks final round of the Worm Burners Medal should be a great contest, as another 10 players were only a shot or two away from the leaders.

The crew today finished off the $5 Tags and Kevin Scott had the honour of drawing the winning ticket number 43 being the Group of Colin Martin, Ted Rudge, Wayne Keen & David Child. A good return for a small investment.
