Stableford – December 5

Scores in the 40's aplenty today.  37 points needed to win a ball, our golfers are in red hot form. Tony Roberts was our stand out with 43 points to win C grade.  Frank Smedley had a very handsome 42 points but sadly only collected a golf ball for his efforts. Craig Hams belted them long down the fairway to win A grade with 41 points. Geoff Maher won B grade on a countback with 40 points....

Monday night 5 hole event

Another perfect evening for golf.  Monday golf wins again. Dan Monaghan had the best score of the night (nett 16) to win the men's event.  Congratulations Dan. Nan Meagher won the women's best score with a very tidy 17 nett.  A birdie 2 on the 14th hole went a long way to helping Nan's winning score. On a very hot day for golf, the scores were scorching too with Andrew Smith back burning for a magnificent 76 off the stick, handicap of 15 and nett 61 with a stableford score of 45 points - a day or two too early for the Monthly medal though.....can he repeat it?.
