INVY ESPY HOTEL 2019 SUPER LEAGUE

Invy Espy Hotel Super League Round Seven (7) & Final Home & Away Results

As we say in golf, it’s not over until the 19th hole.

As expected some teams rose to the occasion and there was plenty of movement amongst the top five teams.

Possums 9 point win over Wombats moved them from 3rd place to 2nd on the ladder and in doing so dropped Wombats from ladder leaders to 3rd on the ladder.

Rosellas 8 point win over Kangaroos saw them end the season on top of the ladder, and at the same time knocking Kangaroos out of the top four.

Kookaburras 5 point win over Echidnas  moved them from 5th into the top four to play off in the semi final against Rosellas.

Round 7 ‘ROD BROWN’ Best & Fairest Winner was Wendy Parker with 39 Points  “Well Done Wendy”

Round Six (6) Invy Espy Hotel Super League Results

There was movement at the station as the players made a run for home in the second last home and away round for this season.

Wombats 134 calmly held onto top spot with a 3 point win over Kookaburras 131 which knocked them out of the top four.

Rosellas 148 had a big win over Platypuses 113 to move themselves up into second place

Second from the bottom and winless to this round, Koalas 137 rolled over Possums 133 and in turn moving Possums from second place into third.

Bottom team Echidnas 140 have left their run a bit late with their first win of the season over Kangaroos 124, and in turn moving Kangaroos from third place into fourth.

This weeks round has some interesting match ups, and could see some considerable movements in the top 5 places  1 Vs 3       2 Vs 4        5  Vs 8.

Round Six (6) Winner of the ROD BROWN Best & Fairest was Max Hyde with a great score of 41 Points.

INVY ESPY HOTEL 2019 SUPER LEAGUE Rnd 5

Invy Espy Hotel round 5 Super League Results

Once again with some close scores and even another tied match, the race for the top four spots with two rounds to go isn’t over yet.

Not one of the top six teams is set in place, and  last year, position six came flying out of the box and moved up to mid top four to qualify for the finals. So give it your best and one never knows where one may end up.

Sad news for teams Koalas and my team Echidnas the season is over.

The Round five (5)  ‘ROD BROWN’ B & F Winner …was Gary McGrath with a fine 38 points just piping out Ian Barlow with 37 points.

Two great Eagles today by Brian Sword on the 18th and Keith Godridge on the 13th.

2019 INVY ESPY HOTEL SUPER LEAGUE ROUND 2

With two draws, round two certainly saw some movements on the ladder.

Team Rosellas took over top position from Possums.

Kookaburras moved from 7th place to 5th and is only .73% out of the top eight.

Team Echidnas were the only team not to move and cemented their place at bottom of the ladder. But as a member of Echidnas, I am sure with five rounds to go, we will soon be taking Rosellas place on top of the ladder.

The Winner of the ROD BROWN Best and Fairest with a fine 40 points was Neil McKenzie

Neil will be able to celebrate his win with the nice dinner compliments of the Super League sponsors
